In honor of this year’s Church Volunteer Recognition Day, we have planned a special time in appreciation of the many volunteers here at Phillipsburg Alliance Church. It will be a brief time to enjoy some cookies, coffee, other light desserts and to be given a small present acknowledging your faithful service to our church. The pastoral staff wish to acknowledge our volunteers and say “Thank you” for all you do to help keep things running so smoothly throughout the year in the various areas and ministries of our church. The staff are very grateful to God for your willingness in doing your part by lending a helping hand, in the sharing of your gifts & talents. Our Pastors and staff feel encouraged & uplifted by this assistance. We happily rely on the help of our congregation to lighten the load. We believe it will help further His kingdom to bless our community and other outreach opportunities! OCC Packing Party Ladies, please join us as we strive to prepare 400 school supply packs to be used in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Some children in other countries cannot go to school simply because they don't own a pencil. We want to do our part to help change that! The supplies have been purchased; we just need your help putting the kits together. The more help we have, the sooner we can finish the job. Please sign up on the church bulletin board, or text Sue Trauger at 908-872-2519 with your name and phone number as soon as possible. Knowing how many are coming will help me prepare. If you are not available to help during the day but would be interested in participating, please text me with your name and number. If enough ladies are interested, I will put an OCC work event together for an evening also. Thank you in advance for blessing the children.
